Fun with Michelle

Michelle came from Utah to visit us for a month. While she was here we tried to go out and explore more than we usually do. It was so great to have her here and to have extra help with the kids. I hope she had a great time. 

Our first sunny day in a long time and we went to Kadena Marina. We rented Kayaks and long boards and the kids played in the sand. We also went out exploring for seashells at another beach. The water was a bit cold to just play in, hence the wet suits. 

My super hero!

It is Cherry Blossom time in Japan. We went to the festival, but we were a little disappointed in the lack of cherry blossoms. Maybe climbing up only 260 stairs was not high enough. 

We have tried to expand our horizons and eat at some more Japanese restaurants. Unfortunately we haven't been too pleased. 

A day off work for Curtis and we explored Round 1. This is a 5 story building with different things to do on each floor. We had massages in the these amazing chairs, rode a mechanical bull, played soccer,   basketball, batting cages, ball pit, frisbee, racing motorcycles, an arcade, etc. It was an amazing place. 

Michelle tried out a traditional Japanese kimono and the fish doctors (they eat the dead skin off your feet). 

Okinawa World- snakes, caves and everything Okinawa. 

Curtis and Michelle went and did the ultimate zip line ropes course. 

A picnic at the park- notice the man in the back who sat right behind us staring and making interesting noises while we ate. 

Early Anniversary dinner...with Michelle. Very expensive and not as delicious as we hoped, but the company was great. 

The kids had so much fun playing with Michelle!

We found a chair in someone's bulk trash on the side of the road. We had to check if it smelled before we took it home to keep.

I had to add this movie. After watching Michelle and Curtis play air hockey the kids had to have their turn at it.
