Fun with Brooklyn!

This is my favorite picture. He is such a good Daddy!



This was Papa's favorite position too. He loves bonding time!



I bought her a swimming suit and we love going to the pool.



We went bowling with Em and Tim for date night.




Yesterday she rolled over for the first time. Curtis saw it first and when he told me, I thought he was joking. Then she did it again two more times. I can't believe how big she is getting!

Here is a very shortened version of the birth story...
I was supposed to be induced on Wednesday night (Feb. 9th). On Tuesday morning I got up and experienced the "nesting" people talk about. I was super productive the whole day. I didn't sit down to rest until about 6 that night. Then around 8 I started having contractions. Because I had had so many, we didn't get excited. But after two hours we decided to go to the hospital. They checked me and I was still only dilated to a 1. Since I was in a lot of pain and I was going to be induced the next day, they said I could stay. Then on the way to my room, my water broke.
I think I got the epidural when I was dilated to a 3. I have no pain tolerance. It took like 15 hours for me to go from a 1 to a 5 and then two hours to a 10. I had to push for about 40 minutes and then there she was, our adorable little baby girl!






We had a few visitors shortly after she was born.






We blessed her when she was only 4 days old because that is when everyone was going to be in town.
