At 38 weeks I climbed the stairway to heaven- 260 stairs- in probably 100 degree weather.
At 39 weeks our little Tyler David Gapinski came to our family.

On Thursday I started having contractions at 2pm, but they weren't very strong. We still went to the park and then out to dinner. We left the restaurant and headed home. I was dilated to a 6. By the time we got to the hospital 45 minutes later, I was an 8. At least it wasn't too late to get the epidural. I was probably complete by the time the epidural was in, then we waited a bit for the doctor to be ready. When my water broke it sounded like a waterfall. I then pushed for an hour and a half and out he came. He didn't even really cry when he came out. He just looked around while they cleaned him off. I was so happy he didn't have to come via c-section.
Brooke and Spence were so excited to meet their little brother. Poor kids were sick so they had to wear masks and stay far away from him for a couple days.
Brooke likes to tell people he has 3 names; Tyler, Ty for short and Ty Ty as his nickname.
A friend from church brought this outfit over and Spencer could not wait to try it on him.
When we realized he was wearing the same outfit as Spencer, we had to recreate the picture. They look like identical twins.
