Utah Trip/ 30th Birthday

We got to go to Utah for the 4th of July. Curtis actually had a four day weekend (which never happens) so he came too. It was so nice to visit with family. Everyone loved Brooklyn and she enjoyed soaking up all the attention (she is going through withdrawl now because she isn't being held and played with all day long)!

We saw a commercial for this pizza at Pizza Hut. It looked really good so Em and I ordered it for just the two of us. We didn't realized it was 2 FEET LONG!




Just the girls got to hang out for a whole week! Shopping, movies, frozen yogurt- it was great!

Brooklyn is getting so much better at eating solids.



But that doesn't mean she always likes them :-)

I celebrated my 30th birthday last week. We had a nice dinner with just the 3 of us and I attempted to make this delicious dessert that they serve at Sweet Tomatoes. It is apple/strawberrty cobbler crisp. It turned out ok, but I highly recommend you go to the restaurant and try it yourself.



Presents!!! Curtis got me a keyboard- I am so excited to attempt, yet again, to learn how to play the piano. I also painted the stool and the sign (with Em's help of course). Who would have thought I would really start to enjoy crafts! And of course you can't forget new socks! Top that of with a season of Monk and it was a great birthday!
